Caroline’s passion is upholding the dignity of the person. Prior to her time at Chaffin Luhana, she pursued this passion through experience in non-profit development and high school ministry. From 2015-2016 she conducted a study as a Keegan Traveling Fellow of care for the dying in twenty-two countries across the world. Caroline graduated with a Master of Science in Bioethics from the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota, a Bachelor of Science in Medicine, Health and Society (MHS), and Bachelor of Arts in History both from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN.
Her free time is spent with her husband and sweet daughter. She enjoys traveling, any sport (played or watched), reading, and fixing up her home.
Charity Nominations
2022: Caroline’s Chaffin Luhana Foundation charity donation was to Brother Andre’s Cafe this year. This organization employs Adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Caroline volunteers on their board of directors and is family friends with the cafe’s first employee.
2020-2021: Caroline nominated Bethlehem Haven Women’s Shelter. This organization provides sustainable and holistic services for the women they serve. From housing, healthcare (both physical and mental), meal assistance – and beyond, this organization provides extremely important service to the community and especially to these women, often who encounter abuse due to their vulnerabilities. Caroline has worked with the organization since 2010.
