News: Woman killed in Westmoreland Co. head-on collision

HEMPFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA – A woman was killed in a head-on collision in Hempfield Township on Monday, reports KDKA.

Dawn Coyne, 57, of Westmoreland County was driving northbound on Arona Road when an oncoming driver in the southbound lanes attempted to pass another vehicle. They collided head-on with Coyne’s vehicle near 942 Arona Road.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities are investigating the crash at this time.
