News: Pedestrian struck, injured by driver in Monaca

MONACA, PA – A person was injured after being hit by a driver in Beaver County on Tuesday morning, reports local media.

The crash happened around 7:15 a.m. when a driver hit a pedestrian crossing Beaver Avenue just south of Industrial Park Road.

They were transported to an area hospital although the extent of their injuries was not immediately disclosed.

It’s not clear at this time whether the driver remained on the scene or fled. The incident remains under investigation.
