News: 2 injured in multi-vehicle crash after driver fails to stop at intersection
CLEARFIELD TWP, PA – Two people suffered injuries after a three-vehicle collision in Clearfield Township on Tuesday morning.
According to WISR, the collision happened on Old East Route 422 at South Clearfield Road around 6:40 a.m. 18-year-old Brian Bellas of Kittanning failed to stop at the intersection stop sign and slammed into another vehicle.
The impact caused the vehicle that was hit to collide with an SUV.
24-year-old Scarlet Lewis of Fenelton was driving the SUV and suffered injuries in the crash. She and Bellas were both taken to Butler Memorial Hospital. Two other people involved in the collision were not injured.
