News: 1 hospitalized after head-on truck crash near Georges Township

FAYETTE COUNTY, PA — At least one person was injured early Tuesday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision near Georges Township, according to WPXI.

Authorities responded to the scene on Georges Fairchance Road, in the Fairchance borough, at about 12:49 p.m.

The circumstances behind the wreck remain unclear at this time, but a passenger car and a truck collided head-on.

One person suffered undisclosed injuries and was transported to an area hospital.

No further information has been made available as of this writing, but an investigation by Pennsylvania State Police was underway.
