News: Authorities respond to fatal crash on University Blvd in Moon Township
ALLEGHENY COUNTY, PA — At least one person died Wednesday morning after a wreck on University Boulevard in Moon Township, according to WPXI.
The fatal accident occurred on the southbound lanes from Stoops Ferry Road, northeast of Robert Morris University. Moon Township Police responded to the scene after receiving a call at around 6:15 a.m.
Details remain limited at this time, but authorities confirmed at least one person was pronounced deceased following the crash.
Both southbound lanes between Stoops Ferry Road and the car dealerships down the road were shut down during the response. Commuters were advised to use extra caution and find alternate routes around the scene.
Moon Township Police have not released further information at this time.
