News: 6 sent to hospital after SUV hits tree in Pittsburgh’s South Shore
PITTSBURGH, PA — Six people were hospitalized early Friday after a single-vehicle crash in Pittsburgh’s South Shore area, according to WPXI.
Authorities said the accident happened near South 1st Street and East Carson Street at around 2:00 a.m.
The circumstances of the crash were not immediately clear, but first responders arrived to find a Jeep smoking and crashed against a tree.
In total, six people were taken to local hospitals in stable condition. At this time, the extent of their injuries has not been disclosed.
By 4:00 a.m., tow crews had cleared the vehicle from the scene.
