News: Accident blocks lane on I-79 NB at I-70 in Washington
WASHINGTON COUNTY, PA — Authorities responded to a collision Friday morning on Interstate 79 near southeast Washington, according to 511PA Pittsburgh.
The crash happened on the northbound lanes at Exit 34 to Interstate 70 East. It was first reported by 511PA shortly after 5:30 a.m.
Little information has been made available, but at least one lane remained closed for more than 80 minutes, suggesting a major accident.

By 6:51 a.m., crews had cleared the scene from the roadway, restoring all lanes to traffic.
