News: Multi-vehicle crash blocks lane on I-279 NB in north Pittsburgh
ALLEGHENY COUNTY, PA — Authorities responded to a multi-vehicle wreck Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 279 in north Pittsburgh, according to 511PA Pittsburgh.
The accident took place on the northbound lanes at milepost 4.5, near the ramp to McKnight Road. It was first recorded by 511PA at 2:40 p.m.
While the cause of the collision has not been disclosed, a lane restriction was in place for at least 45 minutes.

By 2:25 p.m., the scene had been cleared from the interstate and all lanes were reported reopened to normal traffic.
