News: 25 juveniles, 3 adults hospitalized after Fayette County camp bus crash
FAYETTE COUNTY, PA — Twenty-five juveniles and three adults were injured Wednesday morning after a school bus crashed off the side of a roadway in Saltlick Township, reports WPXI.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Pine Slopes Road and Indian Creek Valley Road (PA-381/711), shortly after 8:00 a.m.
According to officials, a school bus was operating as a camp bus when, for reasons still unknown, it veered off the roadway. The vehicle collided with a wooden fence before coming to a stop in a nearby field.
Pennsylvania State Police said twenty-five juveniles and three adults were transported to area hospitals. No information on the extent of their injuries or conditions has been disclosed as of this writing.
An investigation is being led by the state police in Uniontown.
