About Michael Sekkas

Michael joins the firm after over a decade of experience defending companies, including acting as Senior Counsel for a national defense firm, where he defended major domestic and international companies in litigation involving wrongful death, catastrophic injury, premises liability, as well as personal injury and tort matters. He has extensive negotiation and trial experience.

Now exclusively representing those injured by the conduct of others, Michael has a unique view of how insurance companies operate within the personal injury realm. He has been able to use his past experiences to position his clients in the best possible place to achieve the best possible outcome. Michael has been recognized by his peers for his creative and effective problem-solving skills and dedication to solutions.

Michael received his Juris Doctor degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law, where he was a Member of the Mock Trial Honor Society. He was awarded the American Jurisprudence award for Advanced Mock Trial and received the award for Outstanding Performance in Oral Advocacy upon graduation.

He has been selected to Connecticut Super Lawyers Rising Stars which recognizes no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in each state. Rising Stars is a designation of top-rated practicing attorneys selected through extensive evaluation.

Outside of the office, Michael has been involved in the Adopt-a-Family Program through the Salvation Army of Fairfield County. He is an avid athlete competing in baseball and flag football leagues in Fairfield and Westchester Counties.
