Careers at Chaffin Luhana
Chaffin Luhana LLP is a law firm focused on value-based advocacy for injured plaintiffs nationwide. If you are looking for a career and a cause, not just a job, our team is for you!
Our mission is to meaningfully impact the lives of our clients and communities. Our core values are embodied in our Doing Good by Doing Right (TM) motto. Our talented team includes former state and federal prosecutors, state and federal law clerks, former large defense firm attorneys and top notch legal and business support staff. Our cases and causes have been featured widely on national and regional media, including on ABC’s Good Morning America, and the firm and its team of talented staff and attorneys have enjoyed many awards and accolades, and regularly appear in print, on television and on radio as experts in their fields. Our attorneys collectively have been practicing for over 150 years, and during their careers, have collected over $1 billion for plaintiffs. That success comes only with a strong commitment to excellence, relentless execution and focus on results, and a deep belief that we are stronger together as a team.
Yet, despite our successes and commitment to excellence, we remain humble, compassionate, authentic, and we do not rest on our laurels! We’re in growth mode and are looking to scale up our team and capacity to help us take things to the next level!
If you are interested in joining our team, we have a very unique way of recruiting that is designed to attract and hire only those who are committed to our firm values and vision. If you think you might be the right fit for our team, call (888) 792-8117 and submit your application!

About Chaffin Luhana
We are a personal injury law firm but not the typical firm you may have seen on television. We believe in value-based advocacy. Our motto is Doing Good by Doing Right. Everyday. In Everything We Do. We have established ourselves as a go-to national and regional law firm. We have grown tremendously and continue to grow.
We represent only plaintiffs and never defendants. We have a non-profit foundation that supports our communities and causes, and philanthropy is an integral part of who we are as a firm.
Unlike many law firms, we do our own business development, marketing and client screening in-house. So, while we are a law firm and a very compassionate one with strong core values, we do a lot of what most people would consider “business” types of work such as setting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for our team, and meeting monthly, 90 day and annual goals—this is all part of our drive to excel and our growth mindset.
In short, we are a different kind of personal injury law firm in so many ways—in fact almost all the ways! Our causes are our clients, and we passionately represent them!
We’re all about working hard, and staying humble and compassionate. In the spirit of humble-bragging, here are some takeaways:
- Former state and federal prosecutors
- Former state and federal law clerks to judges
- Court-appointed leaders to some of the most important national product liability cases
- Over 85 years of combined legal experience
- Attorneys have recovered over $1 billion for plaintiffs in their careers
- Ranks include SuperLawyers and Multi-million Dollar advocates
- Social Worker on staff to assist clients
- Expanded reach with 3 offices in different states—ranging from NYC to a small town in WV—reflecting our drive but also our caring side
- Cases and attorneys regularly featured in the press including on ABC World News, Good Morning America and in many other news outlets!
- Publish Living Safer and Legal Examiner
- Have our own foundation that does a lot of good, by doing right—the Chaffin Luhana Foundation!
If you’re looking for a job that’s boring and easy, you won’t find that here. We put our all into everything we do. Greatness is achieved through hard work, discipline, and sacrifice, and we’re determined to be great.
We’re not crazy; we just believe in our causes, our clients and what we do!
If you’d like to be part of a nationally recognized, collaborative and compassionate team, then we can’t wait to hear from you.
