Chaffin Luhana Joins 99.1 PLR to Fight Hunger this Thanksgiving Season

At Chaffin Luhana, giving back to the community is at the core of our mission. As a proud sponsor of the upcoming 99.1 PLR Sam Tilery Food Drive, we are excited to share how we’re joining forces to make a meaningful impact this holiday season.

The holiday season is known for its festive spirit and family gatherings, but it can also be a challenging time for families in need. That’s why we’ve teamed up with 99.1 PLR to support Connecticut Foodshare, an organization dedicated to addressing hunger and creating sustainable solutions for individuals and families throughout the state.

The Food Drive will take place on Friday, November 17th from 10am to 7pm at Connecticut Fresh Food and Produce Market in Wallingford (920 South Colony Road, Wallingford, CT 06492).  Our team, along with your favorite 99.1 PLR personalities, will be on-site to collect canned goods, non-perishable food items, and cash donations.

Connecticut Foodshare’s mission aligns perfectly with our commitment to “Doing Good by Doing Right™“. They work diligently to provide nutritious food to those in need while also tackling the root causes of hunger. By distributing food through local partner programs, they help alleviate hunger across the state.
