November 27, 2024, Pittsburgh, PA – Chaffin Luhana LLP and The Chaffin Luhana Foundation proudly continued their tradition of giving back to the communitities where the firm practices with their annual Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaways across three states.  Over the course of the events, the firm distributed 650 turkeys to families in need across the Greater Pittsburgh area, New Cumberland, WV, and Wallingford, CT.  In Connecticut, Chaffin Luhana was a proud sponsor of the 99.1 PLR Sam Tilery Food Drive at CT Fresh Food and Produce Market in Wallingford, benefiting Connecticut Food Share.

According to No Kid Hungry, nearly 14 million children in the United States live in food-insecure homes. By organizing and participating in these annual Turkey Giveaway events, Chaffin Luhana doesn’t just provide meals; they offer hope and support, reinforcing their commitment to the communities they serve and embodying the spirit of giving that defines the holiday season.

Eric Chaffin, Founding and Managing Partner of Chaffin Luhana, reflected on the initiative, saying, “With the holiday season upon us, we’re very aware of the financial difficulties many families are facing. Our Turkey Giveaway is more than just a helping hand; it’s a reflection of our commitment to the communities we serve. Initiatives like this are at the heart of our mission, Doing Good by Doing Right™, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to bring some relief and joy to our neighbors.”

“Every year, as we gear up for our Turkey Giveaway events, our commitment to fostering a spirit of giving in our communities only grows stronger, ” reflected Roopal Luhana, Founding Partner. “This initiative is a core part of our mission, providing not just food, but comfort and connection during the holidays. We’re continuously inspired by the resilience and gratitude of the individuals and families we meet. It’s a powerful reminder of the meaningful impact we can have.”

Many recipients expressed gratitude, with Jenny F. from Pittsburgh saying, “I wish it would have been acceptable to get out of the car and hug everybody.” She added, “It’s been quite a year, and this was just so appreciated.” Her words reflect the deep impact this initiative has on the families it serves.
