News: 1 hospitalized after crash on Bennett St in east Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH, PA — At least one person was sent to a hospital Thursday morning after a wreck in east Pittsburgh’s Homewood neighborhood, reports WTAE.

The accident happened in the 8000 block of Bennett Street just before 4:00 a.m.

Officials have not said what caused the crash, but at least one person suffered injuries and was taken to a hospital.

Footage taken at scene shows major front-end damage to a passenger car. The vehicle appeared to have come to rest against a truck, but it was unclear whether the truck was involved.
