News: 1 killed in two-vehicle crash on I-376 near Clinton
ALLEGHENY COUNTY, PA — One person died Wednesday morning after a collision on Interstate 376 near Clinton that left another person injured, according to WPXI.
The accident took place on the westbound lanes of I-376 (Parkway West) at Exit 52 to Clinton Road, west of Pittsburgh International Airport. It was first reported just before 7:10 a.m.
Pennsylvania State Police said the decedent’s Subaru WRX veered off the interstate and struck a Dodge Ram that was parked on the shoulder, facing westbound.
The driver of the Subaru succumbed to their injuries at the scene, confirmed officials.
First responders transported the driver of the Ram to a local hospital with unspecified injuries.
Motorists were urged to seek alternate routes around the scene as state police conducted an investigation.
