News: 2 injured in two-vehicle wreck at Forward Township intersection
BUTLER COUNTY, PA — Two people were hurt Sunday afternoon due to a two-vehicle crash in the Evans City area of Forward Township, reports Butler Radio.
The collision occurred on Evans City Road at Lloydmont Boulevard, near the entrance to Leslie Farms. It was first reported shortly after 3:00 p.m.
An early investigation shows a 64-year-old Butler woman was driving westbound on Evans City Road when she ran a red light at the intersection. She then hit a vehicle traveling from Lloydmont Boulevard.
The driver of the victim vehicle, a 57-year-old Evans City woman, suffered minor injuries. She was transported to Butler Memorial Hospital.
The driver of the striking car was also hurt and received treatment at the scene.
At this time, officials have not reported any pending charges or citations.
