News: 4-vehicle crash, fuel spill blocks PA Turnpike in Irwin
IRWIN, PA – Major traffic delays were reported following a four-vehicle crash and subsequent fuel spill in West Moreland County Friday evening.
According to Trib Live, the incident at about 5 p.m in the westbound lanes of the interstate near the US-30 interchange.
Fortunately, no one was injured as a result of the collision. However, the Turnpike was closed for several hours while Hazmat crews worked to clean the spilled fuel.
All lanes were reopened by 10:30 p.m.
