News: BFFD responds to trailer rollover on 5th Ave in Beaver Falls
BEAVER COUNTY, PA — A tar trailer overturned Wednesday afternoon, blocking part of 5th Avenue in a Beaver Falls residential neighborhood, reports Beaver County Radio.
The accident happened in the 1600 block of 5th Avenue, near the 16th Avenue intersection. It was first reported by Beaver Falls Fire Chief Mark Stowe Thursday morning.
Few details have been released, but the trailer spilled liquid tar onto a newly-paved section of the road.
BFFD crews poured sand over the impacted area, which is expected to be resurfaced by Youngblood Paving.
No one was reported hurt in the crash.
