News: Child, 4 women hospitalized after crash on Frankstown Rd in Penn Hills
ALLEGHENY COUNTY, PA — A 3-year-old child and four women were injured Thursday evening due to a two-car crash in south Penn Hills, according to WPXI.
The accident occurred in the 10900 block of Frankstown Road, near Erhardt Drive, in the city’s Frankstown Estates area. Local police, fire crews, and EMS personnel responded to the scene at about 6:55 p.m.
It was unclear what caused the wreck, but authorities said a Toyota RAV4 and a Subaru Legacy were involved.
All occupants of the Subaru, including the young child and the four women, were transported to an area hospital. The child and three women were listed in stable condition, but one woman remains in critical condition.
No injuries to the Toyota driver were reported.
Authorities have not indicated any pending charges or citations at this time as detectives continue to investigate.
