News: Collision involving dump truck on I-79 leaves 1 seriously injured

JACKSON TOWNSHIP, PA – At least one person was seriously injured following a collision involving a dump truck in Butler County on Tuesday morning.

According to WPXI, the crash happened sometime before 7 a.m. in the southbound lane of the interstate between Zelienople and Portersville.

The events surrounding the crash are unclear at this time. However, photos from the scene show a pickup truck and a dump truck were involved.

One person was airlifted to the hospital for treatment. Their identity, and the extent of their injuries, are unclear at this time.
