News: Driver dies after rollover crash off I-279 in Franklin Park
ALLEGHENY COUNTY, PA — A 34-year-old man died early Sunday after a single-vehicle rollover wreck off Interstate 279 in Franklin Park, according to WPXI.
Pennsylvania State Police responded to the scene along the northbound lanes past McAleer Road. Dispatchers received a call shortly after 12:53 a.m.
Authorities said the man was driving a car northbound, when, for reasons still unknown, the vehicle traveled off the roadway. The car then collided with a utility pole and rolled over several times.
The male driver died from his injuries at the scene, confirmed officials. No other injuries were reported.
An investigation remains ongoing.
