News: Driver hospitalized after collision on PA-38 in Summit Township

BUTLER COUNTY, PA — A 76-year-old Butler woman was injured Monday morning in a two-vehicle crash on Route 38 in Summit Township, according to Butler Radio.

The wreck occurred at the intersection with Patten Lane, near Oneida Valley Fire Department. It was reported shortly before 9:00 a.m.

Pennsylvania State Police said the woman was driving on Patten Lane when she pulled out onto Route 38 “without proper clearance.” Her vehicle was then hit by another vehicle driven by a 54-year-old Butler man.

The woman was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with a leg injury.

No injuries to the other driver or anyone else have been reported.

Officials have not shared any further details at this time.
