News: Man dies after vehicle crashes off Lincoln Ave in NE Pittsburgh
PITTSBURGH, PA — A 75-year-0ld man died Sunday afternoon after a single-vehicle wreck in the Lincoln-Lemington-Belmar neighborhood of northeast Pittsburgh, reports WPXI.
Allegheny County dispatchers said the accident occurred in the area of Chaucer Street and Lincoln Avenue. Pittsburgh police officers, firefighters, and EMS personnel responded to the scene at around 3:17 p.m.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the crash, but Pittsburgh Police said the man was driving when his vehicle went over a hillside.
The male driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene, confirmed officials. He has since been identified by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner as William Boulware, of Pittsburgh.
