News: Multi-vehicle crash partially closes I-279 SB near NW Pittsburgh
ALLEGHENY COUNTY, PA — A multi-vehicle wreck Tuesday morning blocked at least one lane on Interstate 279 near northwest Pittsburgh, according to 511PA Pittsburgh.
The accident happened on the southbound lanes at milepost 8, past Camp Horne Road. It was first reported by 511PA shortly after 8:00 a.m.
Authorities have not provided details on the circumstances behind the crash, but a lane restriction was in place for over an hour.
