News: Passenger dies after car crashes into Clairton home

ALLEGHENY COUNTY, PA — A man was died early Thursday morning after a vehicle slammed into a residence in Clairton, according to WPXI.

The fatal accident happened in the 500 block of North 8th Street, just northwest of Clairton Park. First responders arrived on the scene after receiving a call shortly after 3:00 a.m.

It was unclear what sequence of events led to the crash, but a man in the passenger seat was found unresponsive. Medics rushed him to a nearby hospital, but he was later pronounced deceased.

The driver was also transported to an area hospital. The extent of their injuries was unclear, but they were last listed in stable condition.

No further information has been made available at this time.
