News: Pedestrian critically injured after struck by driver in Pittsburgh
PITTSBURGH, PA – A woman suffered critical injuries after she was struck by a driver on McKnight Road Wednesday night, reports WPXI.
Emergency crews responded to the 4500 block of McKnight Road around 8 p.m to find a woman unconscious after being hit by a driver.
She was rushed to an area hospital in critical condition.
The driver remained on the scene. Authorities do not suspect intoxication or foul play in the collision. The roadway was shut down to Babcock Boulevard as police investigated the incident.
