News: Pedestrian hit, injured by vehicle near downtown Washington intersection
WASHINGTON COUNTY, PA — One person was hospitalized Friday morning after being struck by a vehicle on South Main Street in downtown Washington, according to WPXI.
The incident occurred near the intersection with East Maiden Street (U.S. Route 40), near Bradford House Museum. It was first reported at about 6:42 a.m.
Few details have been released at this time, but the pedestrian was rushed by ground ambulance to a local hospital. Dispatchers noted medical helicopters were unable to fly out to the scene due to weather concerns.
Authorities have not disclosed the cause of the crash or the condition of the victim.
