News: Semi overturns, closing part of PA-28 SB near Tarentum
ALLEGHENY COUNTY, PA — Authorities responded to a rollover semi-truck crash Monday morning on Route 28 near southwest Tarentum, reports WPXI.
The accident took place on the southbound highway near Exit 12A to Pittsburgh Mills Boulevard. It was first recorded by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation at 5:40 a.m.
No information regarding the cause of the wreck has been shared, but no injuries were immediately reported.
All southbound lanes of PA-28 were blocked off from Exits 14 to 12 as crews worked to clear the scene.
By 7:35 a.m., nearly two hours after the initial report, all lanes were cleared and reopened to normal traffic.
