ALLEGHENY COUNTY, PA — A rollover crash involving a tractor-trailer Tuesday morning closed a right lane on Interstate 279 in Ohio Township, according to WPXI.
The accident occurred on the southbound lanes at mile marker 10.7, approaching the Mt. Nebo Road overpass, at around 3:20 a.m.
It was unclear what caused the wreck, but authorities said a semi carrying peat moss overturned onto its side.
Only a single left lane remained open following the crash, causing delays in the area.
No injuries to the driver or anyone else have been reported.
Sections of the roadway remained closed until crews were able to clear the scene. Shortly before 11:28 a.m., all lanes were reopened to traffic.
