News: Woman killed, man injured after pursuit ends at Allegheny Co. Airport
PITTSBURGH, PA – A police pursuit in the West Mifflin area Saturday morning ended in a deadly crash on Allegheny County Airport property.
According to a report by WTAE, police initiated the pursuit around 3:20 a.m. when a black Cadillac Escalade was seen driving erratically and hit a vehicle.
Officers initially lost sight of the Cadillac until it was seen near the Airport’s entrance. The driver then lost control and crashed, ejecting both occupants.
32-year-old Barbara L. Mohamed, the Cadillac’s passenger, was pronounced dead a short time later. The driver, an unidentified man, was hospitalized in stable condition.
