Lisa Merritt

Raised in a small town in Connecticut, Lisa has always found pleasure in giving back by helping others. She graduated from New Fairfield High School and Katharine Gibbs Secretarial School in Norwalk, Connecticut. In 1994, Lisa moved to Northwest Florida to be closer to her family while raising her children. Before entering the legal field, Lisa raised three successful daughters, who have blessed her with three beautiful grandchildren.

Prior to joining Chaffin Luhana, Lisa has over two decades of Certified Law Clerk experience in both criminal and civil law. Most recently having worked as a Legal Assistant at a Mass Tort law firm, she strengthened her skills in case management and client communication.

Lisa resides with her partner Brianne, and they enjoy spending time on the beautiful beaches of Northwest Florida with family, her two rescue dogs, Fancy and Maggie, as well as taking quick trips to her favorite city, New Orleans. Frequent travels from the Florida panhandle to New Orleans fuel Lisa‘s passion for experiencing cultural diversity in the arts, cuisine, and architecture.
