Luishanna Vera

Junior Litigation Paralegal

About Luishanna Vera

Luishanna has long been interested in the legal system and the ways it can impact individuals and communities. Her interest in criminal justice and social issues led her to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology at Quinnipiac University. During her time at Quinnipiac, she gained experience through legal and public sector opportunities involving criminal records, public records, pardon applications, and client advocacy. These experiences strengthened her interest in advocacy and gave her an appreciation for the importance of listening to clients and understanding the circumstances behind each case.

Prior to joining Chaffin Luhana, Luishanna worked at an immigration law firm, where she assisted with a variety of immigration matters, conducted legal research, and communicated directly with clients. She brings a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to her work.

Outside of work, Luishanna enjoys traveling, reading, hiking, exploring new places, and spending time with family and friend.
