About Diana Beltré Acevedo
Before joining the Chaffin Luhana team, Diana gained experience in a nationally recognized plaintiff’s law firm where she focused on defective consumer products and defective medical devices.
Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Diana earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico of School of Law and her undergraduate degree in Music Education from the main campus of the University of Puerto Rico.
In her free time, Diana enjoys singing in a philharmonic choir, collecting house plants, gardening, spending time with her friends and family, and training her cats how to do tricks.
Charity Nominations
2024: Diana’s Chaffin Luhana Foundation charity of choice this year was the Humane Society of Puerto Rico. The Humane Society of Puerto Rico (HSPR) is a nonprofit focused on animal welfare through adoption services, low-cost veterinary care, and educational outreach. They manage abandoned animals, offer affordable sterilization, vaccination, and basic health services, and run a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program to control stray cat populations.
2023: Diana’s Chaffin Luhana Foundation charity donation was to Taller Salud this year. Taller Salud is a community based feminist organization dedicated to improving women’s access to health care, to reducing violence within the community and to encourage economic growth through education and activism.
