Rob Ahrens

Rob was born in New Rochelle, New York, and grew up in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, where he developed his love of the outdoors and snowboarding. He graduated from East Stroudsburg University of PA with a bachelor’s degree in communications studies. After moving to Pittsburgh, he started working in customer service as an agent, then moved to quality assurance and became a supervisor. He has over 15 years of supervising experience in call centers for both a major utility and a regional urgent care facility. His experience with quality assurance and management in these positions has helped him develop his analytical thinking and attention to detail.

Rob enjoys spending time attending concerts and going to the movies with his wife, Heather. During their free time, they enjoy hiking and traveling, exploring new towns and restaurants, and spending time with their family. They recently welcomed their first grandchild to the family. Rob also enjoys watching hockey, especially the Pittsburgh Penguins, and began kayaking as a new hobby.
