After completing a school run from the district’s middle school, the bus driver lost control and struck at least one parked car before crashing through part of a home. The bus driver was alone in the vehicle at the time—no students were on board.

The driver was hospitalized with injuries and is expected to recover. The struck home sustained serious structural damage. Estimates for repair costs have not yet been released.
