News: 1 injured after two-vehicle crash in Butler County

CONNOQUENESSING TWP, PA — The two-vehicle collision happened Thursday afternoon near the 1000 block of Evans City Road in Butler County.

How the Crash Happened

A Toyota Prius driver reportedly veered off the roadway, then overcorrected back onto the road and crossed into the path of an oncoming commercial van traveling eastbound. The impact caused significant damage to both vehicles.

Injuries and Medical Response

The driver of the Prius was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for medical treatment. As of now, their condition is unknown. The driver of the commercial van did not immediately report serious injuries.

Road & Traffic Effects

Emergency crews closed portions of Evans City Road to clear debris and attend to the scene. Traffic delays were reported in surrounding areas during the response period.
