Clearfield Township tractor-trailer injury crash claim follows a crash in Clearfield Township Thursday morning when a smaller vehicle collided with a semi-truck at the intersection of East Route 422 and Clearfield Road.
What Happened
A 76-year-old driver and a 71-year-old passenger were in the smaller vehicle. The impact with the tractor-trailer caused the smaller vehicle to catch fire. Emergency responders arrived on scene shortly after the crash was reported around 11:00 a.m.
Victims & Response
Both occupants were hospitalized for treatment. Their current conditions have not been released. Fire crews extinguished the blaze caused by the crash.
