The crash took place shortly after 3:00 p.m. Sunday in the Evans City area, near the entrance to Leslie Farms. Emergency responders arrived soon after the incident was reported.
What Led to the Collision
According to preliminary investigation, a 64-year-old woman driving westbound on Evans City Road ran a red light at the intersection and collided with another vehicle traveling from Lloydmont Boulevard.
Victims & Medical Response
The driver from Lloydmont Boulevard, a 57-year-old Evans City woman, suffered minor injuries and was transported to Butler Memorial Hospital. The driver who ran the red light was also injured and treated at the scene.
Investigation & Liability
