State Police report that the 18-year-old female driver from Slippery Rock was driving at too high a speed for the wet road. She lost control in a curve, veered off the roadway, struck a tree, and the vehicle overturned.
Victims & Medical Response
The driver was taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation. Two passengers—a 19-year-old from West Newton and an 18-year-old from Pittsburgh—were also transported to hospitals. None of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening.
